All Star Coach Nominations

MWDBA is responsible for the provision of representative pathway programs and opportunities to junior players who play in its associated competitions. 

The All Star Coach will be responsible the delivery of on-field training for players involved in all teams within the program. They should  ensure that an enjoyable, effective and high-quality baseball program is delivered to all participants. 

Ultimately, MWDBA seeks to deliver a program that enables MWDBA Representative teams to be competitive and succeed at State and National Championships.

What you have to do to succeed?

• Commit to following and implementing the ‘Manly Junior Representative Baseball Program – Playing Philosophy’
• Abide by the ’Manly Junior Representative Baseball Program – Coaching Philosophy’
• Commit to coaching under the parameters outlined in ‘Manly Junior Representative Baseball Program – Coach Expectations’
• Develop and deliver training programs in conjunction with the Head Coach Manly Junior Representative Program and team coaches
• Assist the Manager (Head Coach) to set game day rosters and plans if required
• Attend meetings and workshops as scheduled by the Head Coach Manly Junior Representative Program

What do you need to succeed?

• Level B Baseball Australia Coaching Accreditation or Level A Baseball Australia Coaching Accreditation with significant high level playing experience
• Experience coaching at various levels of baseball
• Understanding of and ability to incorporate and implement ‘Positive Coaching’ into program development and coaching methodology
• Willingness to continue to develop as a coach and to participate coach education workshops and sub-groups
• Current Working With Children Check
