JUNIOR REP COACHES
MWDBA – Baseball for All Ages
MWDBA is recruiting for suitably qualified and experienced coaches to work with our Junior Representative Teams:
- Rookies Cup
- Sydney Cup
- All Stars
MWDBA intends to enter All Star Teams in the Baseball NSW State Championships in April. We are looking to appoint Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches to these teams within the next month.
BNSW has advised that they will be holding a Sydney Cup competition this Summer however we are not sure of the exact dates and structure of this yet – it will likely take place in October to December. It is an expectation that All Star coaches will be involved in working with teams and players within the Sydney Cup phase of the program too. Coaches will need to be available on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday evenings and Sunday during the day (times dependent on age group coaching).
Manager (Head Coach)
The Manager (Head Coach) is responsible for the delivery of on-field operations of the team and to ensure that an enjoyable, effective and high-quality baseball program is delivered to all participants.
Assistant Coach
The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Manager in the delivery of on-field operations of the team and to ensure that an enjoyable, effective and high-quality program is delivered.
Specialist Coach
The Specialist Coach is responsible for assisting the Manager in the delivery of on-field training for players involved in all teams within the program. They should ensure that an enjoyable, effective and high-quality baseball program is delivered to all participants.
Development/Trainee
The Development/Trainee Coach will be afforded the opportunity to work within the program in an effort to gain experience and improve their skills and knowledge. They will assist in the delivery of on-field training for players involved in all teams within the program.
