Working with Children (WWC) Checks for Coaches/Managers

Please be advised that the Manly Warringah District Baseball Association committee resolved at the most recent meeting that all senior coaches/managers intending to coach/manage a team in the upcoming summer season (and all future seasons) will require a WWC approval if you have any players in the team under the age of 18. The WWC will still be required even if you have a child playing in the team.

WWC approval is a free and easy process requiring very little time. The process can be started here: https://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/child-safe-organisations/working-with-children-check

Once completed, you need to attend a quick certification at Services NSW and you will be issued with a WWC number.

The MWML committee will require all coaches/managers (with U18s in their team) to submit their WWC numbers at the start of the season to be held on file by the committee.
