MWDBA Board Nominations – David Gledhill

I was a junior player for MSBC from the age of 9 and have played in the Manly Minor League winter and Masters competitions as well as being a parent and coach in the Manly district representative program.

I have been on the MSBC board for 9 years and with 7 of  those years as President of Manly Seasiders and as a member of the Manly Junior competition committee.

I am nominating for a position on the RSA board as I believe the communication channels between the RSA and the JCC can only be kept effectively open with active members of both committees and not through invitees.

All decisions and proposals I make will be with the majority of members in mind, including the need to keep fees and unnecessary costs down for all members and their families across all programs whist balancing the need to raise the standard of baseball through broader, inclusive development programs and improved facilities that are needed to grow the game within the district.

Over the next 12 months, I propose to focus on having all committees within the district working together again and enabling committees to run all their competitions.
