Manly State U18 Wants You

U18’s State League or U18’s Futures

If you’re a retiring player from Manly Warringah Juniors or keen to consider playing in Under 18’s baseball we would like to invite you to join Manly State League to continue your playing career. Manly Warringah State League has teams playing in all four grades of the NSW State League Baseball competition. Players moving from juniors to seniors are part of the club’s player base and usually start off their state league careers in the under 18’s competition.

We are holding an information evening for you and your parents, at the Manly clubhouse on Tuesday 30th July at 6.30pm. We will provide you with details of our procedures for training, game day, and competition details, including playing costs. It will also be an opportunity for you to meet with the U18s coaching staff and the executive of the State League Committee.

If you decide to join our club, your first training night will be on Tuesday 6th August and the season starts on 14th September. The club trains every Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6.30 – 9.00pm. The U18’s plays every Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm with a few exceptions when they will play at 11:00am.

Commencing last season, State League introduced a second under 18’s team called the Manly Futures. With many under 18’s players completing Junior baseball we believe there is an opportunity for like minded players who want the grade experience and support to play with the Manly Futures, training with Grade and play in the Manly uniform to compete in a competitive competition. There were several learnings from last season and we look to improve and apply for this upcoming. For some players whose experience may be on the cusp of Grade this is an ideal step before playing in a senior baseball team

We look forward to seeing you on the night! This is an information night only, with no commitment to play, so please come along even if you are undecided about your baseball future. Registration information will be provided on the night.
