Selection Trials

All players wishing to trial for a MWDBA representative team must register at the Registration Page by the due date and attendance at all trials is compulsory.

The MWDBA Representative Committee will set a panel of selectors which will include:

• Head Coach MWDBA Junior Representative Program
• MWDBA Representative Team and Specialist Coaches
• Other suitably qualified baseball personnel

Players will be assessed on:

• Running Speed
• Arm Strength
• Throwing, catching and fielding skills
• Specific positional skills (where appropriate)
• Batting ability – technique, contact and power
• Coachability and attitude
